Post-Acute and Long-Term Care conference for physicians, medical directors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and health care professionals. 

Join us Thursday, October 10 and Friday, October 11 for a great lineup of speakers.  We are excited to be offering this conference in-person or online. 

For those joining us live, we will have great networking, and lunch will be provided.  

Participants can join us online through zoom where you will see the power points and hear the speaker.  Conference recordings will not be available.

Live Virtual Sessions Enriching our conference lineup, our live virtual speakers will join us remotely to share their expertise and insights. Despite not being physically present, their impactful presentation will be seamlessly integrated, delivering valuable knowledge to our attendees.  Both virtual and in-person attendees will be able to ask and answer questions.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of The Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association and WAMD – The Wisconsin Society of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. The Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM Designation
The Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 13.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ABPLM CMD Credit
This CME activity has been pre-approved by the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (ABPLM) for a total of 7.5 management hours and 5.5 clinical hours toward certification or recertification as a Certified Medical Director (CMD) in post-acute and long-term care medicine. The CMD program is administered by the ABPLM. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit actually spent on the activity.

ABIM MOC Statement
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 13.0 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

EXHIBITOR INFORMATION

The fall conference brings together physicians, medical directors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants from across Wisconsin.  Our typical attendance is between 40-50 attendees.  We also opened attendance to virtual attendees.  We are following ACCME guidelines for exhibitors that requires attendees agree to provide their name and contact information on released attendee lists.  However, you are free to contact any attendee that provides you their contact information during the exhibit.  

The cost of the exhibit is $300. Please register using the link BELOW.  Space is limited.

Exhibitors are provided a 6 foot table with a white tablecloth, two chairs and up-to, two lunches. Exhibitors may begin set up at 9:00am.

Sponsorship opportunity are available to host our Thursday night networking event, Friday breakfast speaker, Registration Sponsor, and others.  Please contact Jeni@WAMD.org for sponsorship opportunities. 

No refund is provided for cancellations within 60 days of the conference start.  Please contact Jeni@WAMD.org with questions or cancellation requests. A $30 cancellation charge will be deducted from refunds that are requested prior to the 60 day cutoff.
